  • Unique tutelage

The best gift my parents ever gave me was when they moved our family up to Clipper Mills. This enabled me to go to the most incredible school Yuba Feather Elementary. For the next 9 years (k-8th) I had the privilege of being under the tutelage of a staff of educators who had one sole motivation and that was to teach their students to the very best of their ability everything they would need to be able to give their optimum performance throughout life. Each and every student was taught so much more than what they call the 3-R's. The entire faculty dedicated themselves to teaching us kids the importance that a proper education would play in our entire lives. Today, we hear a lot of talk about the Law of Attraction…well it is my firm belief that while my parents helped me to begin to understand this principle…the faculty at Yuba Feather Elementary instilled it into their students. As I have gone through and met many challenges in life, I always have to come to realize that living on "The Hill” as we all so affectionately called the geographic location of the Yuba Feather Ridge was the root of me being able to meet them and continue to prosper in life.
As I always say Frank Sinatra may have left his heart in San Francisco, but I left mine in Clipper Mills, CA
So in closing I’d like to say I’m so very proud to be a member of the Yuba Feather Elementary Alumni I only regret it took me so long to come back home.
