Description
Students will make pencil containers
Goals
Students will learn:
*To create pencil containers
Materials Needed
*Small metal cans that will hold pencils or pens. They can be vegetable or fruit cans.
*Popsicle sticks
*Glue
*Paint
Procedure
First, students will get their cans and their Popsicle sticks.
Then, they will glue a Popsicle stick to the can and continue around the can until it is covered.
After that, the students can paint the Popsicle sticks any color they want or decorate it any way they choose.
When the can is dry, they can put their pencils or pens inside, or they can give their cans to a relative or friend as a gift.
Grading
You can grade their students on how well they worked together and for their creativity on their art project.
