Description

This lesson plan contains math problems on measurements (feet and inches)for students to solve.

Goals

To think about the math problems and solve them
To understand feet and inches
To convert feet to inches and inches to feet

Materials Needed

You will need the worksheet
Pencils and erasers

Procedure

First, you will need to explain feet and inches to the students: (12 inches = 1 foot 24 inches = 2 feet 36 inches = 3 feet). The answer sheet is included.

Then, you will copy the worksheet and give each student a copy. They will solve the problems independently. After that, you can grade them.
