Description

Students will have a worksheet where they will circle the words in the list that end with the same letters.

Goals

Students will learn:
To recognize ending letters of words

Materials Needed

Worksheet that I have included in this lesson
Pencils and Erasers

Procedure

First, you will copy the worksheet so that each student will have a copy.

Then, you will write the following examples on the board:

1. Tree Flower House Car

2. Cat Dog Bird Pet

You will explain to the students that they are to find two words in each row that end with the same letter.

First example: flower and car

Second example: cat and pet

After that, you will give them the worksheet.

Directions: Circle the words in each row that end with the same letter.

Grading

You can grade the students on the total number correct out of the total possible number.
