Place Values - Subtracting
This lesson is about reading the problem and subtracting numbers in certain place values.
First, you will copy the worksheet so that each student will have a copy.
Then, you will write the following examples on the board so that students will understand what to do.
Examples: Subtract 20 thousand from 38,299 = 18,299
Subtract 100 from the hundreds place value = 38,598 = 38,498
After that, you will pass out the worksheets so they can work independently.
