The Tobin School

The Tobin School is a small, independent day school serving children in preschool through grade 2.

Our parents have described The Tobin School as “caring, warm, fun, and encouraging—a really good place for those elementary years" and “a family-centered school that values high quality academics, diversity, the arts, community involvement, and fosters intellectual exploration.”

At Tobin, we are committed to developing happy, engaged and intellectually curious children.  We offer intentionally small class sizes allowing individualized instruction, a faculty dedicated to supporting a variety of learning styles, and a collaborative relationship between school and family.  We provide a rich balance our academic skills and special subjects, including foreign languages, visual and performing arts, music, physical education, yoga and technology. Our school includes a strong social emotional learning curriculum and promotes character education and community service. 

Each November, The Tobin School's Family Volunteer Fair brings together families to support a number of great non-profit organizations through fun, family-friendly, participatory activities.  This event is the hallmark of community service efforts throughout the school year.

The Tobin School is an affiliate member of AISNE (the Association of Independent Schools of New England), is in process of NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) Accreditation for our early childhood and Kindergarten programs, and is a member of the Natick Anti-Bullying Coalition and Family Resources of Natick. The Tobin School was named #1 Preschool in Natick and a Regional Bronze Medal Winner in 2014 by Wicked Local in Natick.
