  • Hmm...everything is nice....the lockers are everywhere! departure is annoying, but i walk home so i have extra time in my locker (not literally in it). The PE activities are not only boring, but tough and discouraging.

  • Academics-(A+) The middle school teachers at Challenger Berryessa are the best. The curriculum at Challenger is very tough, and it prepares students for high school.

Teachers-(A+) I would say this Challenger campus has the best teachers. The middle-school teachers are very experienced, and they make sure that every student succeeds. They also teach their material very well.

Facilities-(A-) This year, a new building has been put in use, and the Berryessa campus is constantly being renovated, so it is very nice. A downside is that Challenger School does not have a library.

Technology-(D) There is no use of technology whatsoever, except in Computer class where students are taught Pascal and PC Logo. The computer lab is then used for no other reason. The school doesn't even let students use nor do they have internet. Also, any cameras or MP3 players are banned from school. Teachers don't even use technology in the classroom.

Extra-Curricular Activities-(A-) This campus does offer many after-school activities, but you must pay for them, and there is a fee for staying after-school.

Sports-(C) Challenger offers no sport programs, and the only thing stopping me from giving this category an F is the Sport Days we have once in a while against other Challenger campuses.

PE-(A-) The Physical Education at this campus is very tough and challenging. Students learn a variety of sports. A downside is that s

Corporate Office-(F) The corporate office in Utah is constantly enforcing more rules due to liability. GIVE ME A BREAK. If you worry about liability, you shouldn't be running a school.

On-Campus Administration-(A) The principal and people in the office are pretty nice, and they try their best to make the school more fun and better.

Overall, Challenger Berryessa is a great school, and in my opinion, the BEST Challenger campus. GO BEARS!
