  • Woodmont is markedly different than it used to be. Time was that Woodmont was growing and everyone was full of hope. Joy abounded on campus and students and parents loved being there. But things have changed. The school isn't what it was. Good teachers and support staff are few now. The Legion is reeling and the school is scarred from those who stood fast in denial only to learn their trust was misplaced. Academically, Woodmont isn't what it used to be either. Just have a look at the standardized test scores and you will see. The school is on the ropes right now. Take a look at the number of staff listed on the website. I hope the school bounces back.

  • Woodmont is exceptional.

When we went on a tour of the school, my wife said to me "I didn't know they still make kids like that!" They graduate being accepted to the schools of their choice. Private schools start recruiting them very early.

  • Woodmont is a great school. This (2008-2009) is our fourth year as a family at the school and our two children attend. They are excelling academically while also growing in their faith and developing very good character. Students at Woodmont learn to serve others and to be leaders, beginning at the earliest grades. The personal attention they receive from teachers and staff is also impressive.

  • The leadership and staff are wonderful - within the first few days of starting at Woodmont, everyone knew my family & my child's name.
This is our first year-daughter is in inaugural preK-3 program& we couldn't be more pleased. She has moved from knowing her alphabet & how to write her first name to being able to write in both upper & lower case, writing her full name, drawing simple shapes & pictures. We are surprised every day by tidbits that she shares about science, geography, math, and religion. I expect that she will enter preK-4 pretty close to sight reading. The teachers are wonderful, and the other families are supportive, friendly, and down to earth.
