  • Waynflete has an exceptional faculty and administration and has achieved an ideal balance between high expectations and low stress for the students who attend. The school climate and culture emphasizes collaboration, respect for others, kindness, doing your best, and love of learning. As a former teacher (at a different school) and currently a parent, I can not say enough positive things about the experience both of my children are having. They are being challenged academically...writing and reading more than they ever did at their previous school, as well as developing their critical thinking skills. They are acquiring essential skills for studying and positive skills for personal interactions with adults and peer. Character development is as important as academic and athletic achievement at Waynflete. I highly recommend this school for any and all families who want their children to thrive and learn in a safe, nurturing yet challenging environment. This is education at its best!

  • Um... to everyone that rated this school as stuffy with mean kids I just hope you know that I think you are wrong! Being a student I know that the kids here are some of the most amazing people I have ever met in my life! And I'm not just saying that! These kids were the kids that helped me up when I fell. The people who are in the staff are not only kind but people that TRULY care about each other! I'm not saying that this school doesn't have some problems here or there but what school doesn't? The best school I've ever been to and I'm proud to be part of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great teachers, not such great students. Just not a nice group of kids in general.

  • Beware, potential employees.

Great school, wonderful (if not a bit stuffy) kids. Horrendous administration.

No certification needed to teach there, but no union to protect you either. They can - and will- cut you loose at any moment. The administration is two-faced and spineless.

Just know what you're getting into.
