  • MCA is a small school comprised of incredibly dedicated staff and faculty. Salaries are low to keep tuition low. I don't know anyone who works there who does not view their job as a sacrificial love offering to the Lord. It will never be the right school for everyone, but if you are looking for a small community to become a part of that will nurture your child and love them like their own, then consider MCA.

  • My student has been at MCA for 6 years and we love it! MCA is such an inspiration to our Children, they do not teach Speaking in tongues! there is a combination of Christian Believers,
Baptist, Presbyterian, Methodist, numerous other denominations and even those who don't attend church. As in all Christian Faith there are different beliefs in each, I do not go to Church at Riverlife ( The Church who does sponsor our School) I am not related to the Moore's in anyway but would be honored to have them as my family, they are honest, loving people who would give you the shirt off their back if you needed it. And Yeah they do Love Jesus!!! I believe that is what draws allot of us to this school, the love of Jesus and us (parents) wanting our children to become Godly Adults. I do not rely on MCA to teach my children about God and Jesus , they (MCA) are my backup. It is my responsibilty as a Christian parent to make sure of what my Child knows and does not know. God's Word says , I, as the parent am to teach them. I hope to have my child graduate from MCA! One of the most important things about MCA is the relationship of the Students! They are like Brothers and Sisters. There is no clicks as in public schools. They will help their fellow student through anything. This is what it is all about helping and Loving one another!
    John 13: 34-35
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

  • I dsisagree with all the negative commits. MCA is an awesome school. The commits are coming from some disgruntled parents and you're going to always have those. Before the school came into being God planted a seed into Janet Moore's heart to start a Christian school God used her to start the school and He's still using her. It just so happens that she has several grandchildren. I would want my grand children in the school too. But it is NOT just for the Moores.
The lives of children who have been changed for the better has been phenomenal this year. The testimonies are many. Speaking in tongues is NOT taught although some belive in it. Only 10% of the students go to River Life and there is no exclusion of students who don't go to River Life especially since the majority go to other churches. The teachers are awesome, Godly people and great teachers who love the students. Being a grandmother I have experienced many schools with my own children and now my grands and MCA wins hands down. Also being a former educator I know an awesome school when I see it.

  • If you dont go to River Life Church you wont EVER fit in. You have to be their friend/church goer to be noticed or even treated nicely. That school is for the Moore family (the ones who run the school) and the church members to have jobs! Not a quality school! They should be shut down!!! Do not go there if you want your children to learn! Public school is better! HONEST

  • I am a parent at this school and its unfortunate that I have to agree with the other two reviews! The school has lost all standard and quality of teaching! They do not supply what the children need! Also they bring drama to school and its not acceptable! We are outa there!

  • THIS SCHOOL IS HORRIBLE! Constantly begging parents! Demanding service hours excessivly! TEACHING CHILDREN things they shouldnt know anything about! They were teaching K-5 how to speak in tounges!!!! UGH NOT a christian school whatsoever! DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! The school is completely broken down and its rubbing off on the children! Finacially the school is very loose! I urge you to look else where! FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR CHILDREN! I am a very honest person and would never say these things if they were not true! Good luck to everyone!
