  • My son has attended Sandia for three years and is doing exceptionally well. He is reading at 8th grade level, and he is in the THIRD GRADE. Class is small, teacher is wonderful, classroom is neat, orderly and conducive to learning. Expensive? Yes, they all are. It is NOT truly a Montessori school but takes elements from this style...self motivation, no limits placed on grade or age, etc, and fosters each child's unique abilities. His teacher IS State certified.
