  • I can’t say enough wonderful things about â€"The Seed.” My daughter, Mimi, has flourished while being here. I’m amazed every day about all the things she has learned in preschool: from math, Spanish, sign language, and science. It has been a fantastic experience for her. Thank you to all the teachers at â€"The Seed.”

  • The Seed provides truly exceptional day care, preschool, and Kindergarten programs. I have had two children attend The Seed and can’t wait for my third to be old enough to attend as well. The youngest children at Little Flower get attention and support and enjoy games, playtime, and learning. My son especially enjoyed the arts and crafts projects and music. He truly blossomed in preschool, when the more structured program included Language, Math, Spanish, and Yoga. I can’t say enough about the full day Kindergarten, which adds reading and writing and drama, with an emphasis on fostering healthy relationships amongst students. My daughter was more than prepared to enter the public schools in first grade and had extra experiences at the Seed Sunshine Room that the public Kindergarten programs simply do not have the time or capability to provide. But most important to me is that my kids have been truly happy at The Seed – they are eager to go to school, excited to tell me what they have learned, they have healthy relationships with the wonderful teachers, and they have made good friends.

  • There are many alternatives- I visited many and tried a few but none come close to the care, respect and education that my we receive at the Seed.
From the first day that I dropped my son off, he never shed a tear, neither have I. He has so much fun and can't stop talking about the science experiments. Some days he asks me to leave him longer!
The staff are loving and knowledgeable about child development. His day is filled with motivating activities, positive play experiences and nutritious food in a safe, clean, and organized environment.
We also enjoy the added benefit of Parent's Night Out !!

  • My son has been at The Seed since last summer and we couldn't be happier with our choice! We chose The Seed for so many reasons, the main one being the extremely high quality care and concern for each child. Throughout our extensive search for a preschool in Westchester, we consistently heard rave reviews about The Seed. In addition to the high quality of care, we chose the The Seed because the school hires top teachers, mostly with graduate school level education, there is an extremely low rate staff turnover, the meals are all nutritious as well as kid-friendly, the program is extremely solid and stimulating, is NAEYC certified, has no snow days, is reasonably priced, parents are always welcomed, directors and teachers are so approachable and accessible, and last but not least my son loves it!! We look forward to enrolling our younger son next year!

  • we are abosolutely delighted that our daughter is at the Seed for kindergarten. it is truly a nurturing environment that promotes self-confidence & learning in an individualized way. we love hearing about her day and listening to the excitment in her voice as she describes everything from spelling to danceing & in between!! (the home-made lunches are also a real PLUS in getting her to branch out food-wise... she has added lots of different proteins & vegetables to her repertoire... which as we all know is a hard thing to do for a 5-year old)!!

  • My daughter just turned 3 and loves the pre-school program. The teachers are nurturing and pay individual attention to each child. They are open even on snow days, which was a big advantage for me as a full-time working mom. The Seed also provides nutritous meals and snacks, so I don't have to worry about packing lunch boxes everyday. Come take a tour, meet the Directors and enjoy the kids' artwork. You will love it!

  • A wonderful school! After I visited close to 10 schools in the area, the minute I walked into the Seed I knew this was the place for our daughter. The school was spotless and the children seemed very happy. All the teachers have a very high level of education and are incredibly nurturing and caring, well beyond their duties. The fact that my daughter never wants to leave when I come to pick her up is a wonderful sign. The Seed also provides very nutritious, homemade meals for the children which is great. I love the fact that my daughter utilizes the whole 'house' during her day at school instead of being stuck in one classroom all day. Children rotate through different stations as they learn art, movement, language, etc. The Seed has been in operation since 1980 which makes me feel they are a solid, trustworthy school.
