  • St. Joseph School is a great foundation for our young children. The low student to teacher ratio means our children are receiving greater quality education and no child is being left behind. Teacher dedication & commitment is evident in our children's enthusiasm in all aspects of school, educationally, socially & spiritually. A wonderful alternative to public school at a great value.

  • We originally started with our children in the Pre-K program. We honestly didn't plan on staying back then. Here we are now with two students in the middle school grades. The teachers have won us over with their dedication, knowledge and compassion for teaching. We continue to grow together as a school keeping up with the demands and standards of our educational system without losing the basic fundamentals that are still necessary. The special area teachers are fantastic and keep our children enthusiastic about learning. It will be very hard to leave this family when our children graduate.

  • St. Joe's is top notch! The individual attention that our children get is second to none and the faith based environment is wonderful. So far we have had two graduates, have two enrolled currently and two more to go. What a beautiful way to raise a morally sound child!

  • The school has a music program like no other elementary school directed by SUNY Fredonia. It is in the process of upgrading it computer lab with all new computers. The dedicated and loving teachers treat their students as if they were like there own children. There is a wide range of extracurricular activies & sports. The building is clean and safe with a large outdoor and indoor area to play. Students who graduate from St. Joe's excel in both public and privite high schools. My 9 year overall experience with St. Joseph School in Gowanda has been very present...it's like being part of one big family.
