School Description

Anchor Lutheran School is a Christian school of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS), the largest Protestant Christian school system in the United States.  We draw much of our quality from the rich history of education, having operated schools since the 1840's.  Anchor Lutheran operates as an accredited educational program for children age 3 through the 8th Grade. We are accredited through both National Lutheran School Accreditation and Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges.  Program features include full-day Child Care and an Early Childhood Education program for Preschoolers, full-day Kindergarten, and Before and After School Child Watch for our elementary level students.  Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the children and families whom we touch while providing quality, relevant education and Christian awareness, preparing children to become lifelong learners and successful adults.  Serving our community for over 30 years, we are known for our warm and nurturing environment that supports students, the strong preparation we provide for education at the next level, and more recently for our leadership in integrating technology into our student's educational experience (including our Jr. High iPad program as featured on the local NBC affiliate).
