  • Till present time, I have been very happy with my kids education at St. Simon Stock School. My complaint is about the church, for the second time I have wanted to use and rent the gym/cafeteria for one of my daughter's birthday party and I was recently giving the "no option" once again. Perhaps the first time I was not a parishioner,
therefore, this year my wife and I got involved in the church. Last Wednesday my wife went to the church to solicitate the gym for our daughter birthday party and once again she was turned down, she was told that she needed to be an active parishioner for at least six month, since school resumes on September she need to wait few more months. I am trying to take this matter to the Archdiocese, I have known from other families the many times they have being turned down for using the school gym, meanwhile I known from people that (...) is renting the gym for a cost of $790.00 for any outside activity that does not belong to the school, so I am wonder why my kids or any other kids can be limit of renting the gym or cafeteria for an important event, honestly I do believe these kids and families have the priority at St. Simon Stock school, this school is as their second house based on religion and values. Please (...) stop discriminating our kids, we as their families feel betrayed, we definitely need more changes at S.S.S. I am looking forward to direct myself to the Archdiocese, or the removal of my three kids at S.S.S.
