  • this school made me the success i am today. i suppose some people can't handle tough love and academically challenging material as well as theater and dance classes that help you grow within yourself. the owners of this school care for their students and want nothing more than for them to strive and be the best possible people they know they can. Theater Street School/Once Upon a Time.i miss those days dearly.

PS.i also was slightly overweight as a child yet i never heard anything negative said towards me. i felt comfortable in my own skin and prospered in the classes i took while attending here. student '96-'00

  • I attended this school about 10 years ago from 1st grade through 5th grade. The owner/principle of this very small private school has more than a few screws loose. She took ballet classes very seriously, you have to enroll in ballet to attend the school. I was a chubby kid growing up and she would constantly mentally abuse me about being overweight, not even in private, she would make comments loud and obnoxiously in front of the class and parents. I remember seeing her grab kids by the arm and fling them across the room when they misbehaved. This was 10 years ago and i still hate the thought of this school. She used to lecture the parents about their children and totally disrespect them. Basically if you weren't a skinny ballet dancer she would make your life a living hell. I remember one time in ballet class she started throwing chairs and cursing. She used to make me eat lunch in her office so she would make sure i didn't over eat. It was very embarrassing. Unless you want your child coming home from school crying every day because of this witch who ruined most of my child hood I wouldn't recommend it.

  • My 3 yr old attended this school for about 2 months before we had to remove him. We witnessed on more than one occasion abusive and condescending language from one of the schoold administrators. My son went from lovingschoold at his former school to crying when it was time to go to school. I deeply regret ever sending my child to this school.
