  • Our children have gone to this school for 8 years. Throughout a change in administration as well as school growth this leadership and staff have faired very well. I will attest by personal opinion as well as our children's report cards that this school proves itself superior to any local elementary and middle school. Iowa basics are a standard and our school ranks quite high in comparison to other schools and students. Teachers demonstrate the love of Christ by their devotion to their mission - teaching our children. This is truly Christlike. The sports program is growing slowly - but growing nonetheless. Children are most definitely encouraged in their daily walk with God as well as academically. This school promotes a biblical view of the world today. It has been in existence for over 25 years. it is its own success story -Praise God! Check it out and see.

  • While the daily Bible classes are of sound teaching, the remaining academics is poor. When compared to other schools (private and public) the academics are poor. It does not properly prepare the children for college.

The rules that tend to lead to detention are very nit-picky. If a student says, "Wow! That sucked!" they are given a warning. A few of those and they have detention. As a parent, I am more concerned with the faculty and administration being good role models AND teachers. Here you will find that both the administration and a few of the faculty tend to play favorites and do not talk to the students with a Christ Like attitude. This school is a very poor choice for a Christian school

  • I have been attending CFA for two years and have to say this is the best school I have gone to. there academics are much better than the school I had attended earlier and daily bible classes have made me feel closer to God. In my opinion CFA should be your first choice if you are searching for a new school.

  • I have to give the school a very low rating. I was led to believe that the school was a Christ centered school with sound academics. My daughter was in the school for a little over a year. We found the rules to be so legalistic that they were turning the older students away from the Lord instead of guiding them to a closer walk with Him. The academics are behind the public schools by at least one year and the high school math curriculum is questionable, at best. I would look at different Christian schools before bothering with this one.
