  • A past parent sent me this site and we were laughing at it’s bad reviews because those people could NOT have possible ever been parents in the school. So, I thought as a current parent AND with a graduate I’m proud to say, is thriving and impressing others everyday, I’d better take time to put up the truth. This school is a little gem!
I heard similar bad things about MCP when I (and a friends family) left another Montessori school in the area. These "rumors” were from the director of that school (tacky huh). We had toured every other school first and both of us had the same immediate reaction to MCP as YES! The kids are engaged and learning, collaborating, and building the first school experience we dream of for our kids. It is a real Montessori school. Some call themselves Montessori but glorified nursery school was what I found until Montessori Children’s Place. Many of us "happy” parents have educator backgrounds and we know a healthy learning environment when we see it. We are actually, "encouraged not to be around too much” to allow our kids to grow on their own. Parents support on administrative (to keep the teachers time IN the classroom) or the DAILY extracurricular activites (that are amazingly INCLUDED in tuition) during the afternoon because it’s so fun to be there.
