This is a hidden gem!! This school is wonderful.The outdoor play area is spacious and sunny with trees, flowers and bushes.YES!! Nature!! The kids LOVE IT. The teachers are wonderful the education is fantastic and i am very happy with all of the changes I see in my daughter. Confidence, respect for self and others and a greater focus and passion for learning. She also takes piano 2 times a week at a bargain price and she loves it!!!She brings home wonderful art projects and sings in several languages!! Thank you House of Children!!

Excellent preschool - first grade. The teachers are very caring toward the children and have a thorough understanding of their needs and requirements. It is located in a converted ranch style home just south of Victory Blvd. There is a fairly large playground set up for the children with a covered outdoor eating area when weather permits. Children nap until age 5 on cots, always supervised by one of the teachers.
The students are taught respect for themselves and others; they learn how to share and play together; classroom time is very quiet and organized according to ability; the children work at their own pace; art projects are aplenty; proper study skills are begun as soon as possible. There is also an optional gymnastics / dance class and piano lessons.
And to top it off, they put on some of the best music programs I have ever seen of young children!
