  • I am 50 yr old now & remember my days at Queen of Peace with respect, honour & love. I was not the popular student. I was the one made fun of. Those childhood trials gave ground for thelarger ones I would face as an adult. I've wandered in to some other "religious." Including paganism. Wondering if there was indeed a real God out there. He seemed so far from me. My thoughts, ideals, & values have made full circle. Iwant my Church. I want the Saints in my life. I want the celebration of Mass to be part of me. I now understand a bit better that God loves us "where" we are & just "as we are." I come to Him guilty, sad, ashamed, lonely, feeling like the worst person in the world. But I scince in my soul that He waits & watches. He's there for me. I was taught a beatuful faith as a child. I blasplemed it in my youth. Now in the later years of my life, I want to return to where I know there is true peace & love. The Church is there. Always welcoming. Inviting. Bidding sinners to just step inside & come home. Home to Jesus & Mary. I make my committment to be Catholic. To live Catholic. To keep my eyes toward heaven, my future home. May the foolishness of my sinfull past be washed awaywith the most sacred, healing blood of Jesus. The blood He shed for this sinner cleasned me to the very depths of my soul. May I discover what God has planned for my future in serving him.I ask for wisdom, knowledge, understading & patientce. I ask that my heart be filled with love, kindness & compassion, & patientce. May I see Jesus in the eyes of others. May I treat all people with the tenderness of Jesus. May my life bless them in some small way for the glory of God. Amen. And may God Bless all the wonderful Sisters & Priests who influenced my life. Sister Francis Ann. Sister Mary Robert. Sister Constance. Father Puzlunski . I love you all. Susan Havelka
