  • I do not know the exact standing of St. Edward Catholic school in scholastic standng, so my rating of the school is arbitrary at the best. I am more concerned that people are talking about a high school at St. Edward. People should know the financial burden they would incur, If not carefull, they would end up having a second class (not only physically but educationally)high school with great drain on the parish's finances.

I went Catholic schools from grade one to post gradute level. I shopuld know.

My advice to the parish and fellow parishioners consider it very carefully to lauch such a project. Instead I would encourage families do more on the family level where Catholic education begins. I f a child is growing up in a Catholic family environment, his/her faith is solid enough. I came from a missionary country, a lot people do not even go to school, yet they have a solid faith throgh their parents. So Catholic education starts at home.
