  • Father of two daughters at Northern Light School (1st & 5th Grade). Both of them are reading and writing way above their grade level, learning multiple languages, along with the normal curriculum per grade. They learn not only in the school, but outside on many field trips (including Shanghai). They have access the brand new computers and software provided by Apple. As a parent, I expressed that I want my children challenged and NLS has delivered everytime. This is my sixth year at Northern Light School and each year the school gets better and better.

As a school, they learn daily the importance of peace, compassion, equality, kindness, hard work, and perseverance. They tell their students that they here to make a difference. The school motto is a quote from Muhammad Ali, "Impossible is Nothing", in which the students have thoroughly embraced. To support their motto, the children are often visited by celebrities to speak on how they reached their goals and to encourage the students to do the same. In a nutshell, Northern Light School students graduate with the ability to speak as leaders, in which they use for the rest of their lives.
