Woodinville Montessori is known for its high educational standards, personalized educational experience, excellent teachers, and low student/teacher ratios. Woodinville Montessori School serves 297 families including 384 students in toddler, early childhood (preschool and kindergarten), lower elementary, upper elementary, and secondary (junior High and high school) programs. Our Montessori High School is scheduled to expand in fall 2014! The school employs roughly 79 faculty members and staff, and occupies four buildings on two campuses, one in downtown Woodinville, and the main campus in Bothell. The school has received joint accreditation from the Northwest Association of Independent School (NWAIS) and the American Montessori Society (AMS). Even more, the school is known for excellence in education, turning out well-rounded students with a passion for learning, drawing students from all over the Eastside of Seattle.

  • Our association with WMS has been very positive. We are impressed with the high quality of the staff and their dedication to the well being and development of the children. We have had good relationships with the other parents and appreciate the friendships we have formed with other families.

  • We have been a part of the WMS family for nine years, with two girls currently in 6th and 9th grades. Our oldest started at another Montessori school on the east coast 11 years ago, and we have been sold on Montessori education ever since. This is a true Montessori school: the classrooms use beautiful Montessori materials; the teachers follow the children's interests; children structure much of their own time; teachers do not "talk down" to children; children are encouraged to be independent and creative thinkers; teachers encourage respect for others and the environment. Like most other parents, I have enjoyed being an involved and getting to know the school community. I am not only a parent and volunteer, but have served on the staff. I am proud of who my children are becoming, and I credit a large part of that to the school.
