School Description
Founded in 1965, The Prairie School in Racine, Wisconsin, is one of the country's finest independent,child-centered, college-preparatory day schools for students age 3 through grade 12. We develop humane, tolerant, creative, well-schooled, self-confident, and environmentally responsible leaders through our rigorous academic programs that enhance individual talents and abilities. We focus on personal character with an emphasis on our "7 A's" philosophy: shaping academic, artistic, athletic, altruistic, active, accountable, and adaptable leaders who are well prepared for success in university and graduate school studies.
