School Description
Walbridge School is the only private day school in the State of Wisconsin dedicated to teaching children with learning disabilities in grades K through 8. Specializing in an individualized curriculum, Walbridge School targets the needs and interests of each student through:
- a very low student to teacher ratio ranging from four to eight students per class
- small school setting ensures that each child is a valued member of our learning community
- experienced teachers are specially trained in a variety of teaching strategies and adaptations
- on-site reading specialist
If you know a child who is bright, but experiences ongoing struggles in school, Walbridge School might be an option to consider. The Walbridge program is designed specifically for students with learning disabilities (such as dyslexia and ADD/ADHD) as well those who experience difficulty with verbal/nonverbal processing, organization, and socialization. Supplementary services in tutoring, educational testing, after school programs, and summer school are also available for students who are not enrolled in our regular academic program.
Our mission is to develop a well-respected, sustainable educational program that uses a comprehensive academic approach to effectively meet the needs of children with learning differences, inspiring them to reach their full potential.
