  • I love OLMC. I have two students enrolled at the school and love the community. They are great with challenging children who are on a regular pace and have a reading special for those students who are behind. It is a true Catholic community and feels like home. I have continued to have my children educated here because they really are committed to the total child and not just to the ABCs. My only struggle with the school is their lack of opportunity for gifted students. Students as young as Kindergarten can begin with the accelerated reading program, but the other subjects are not taught using a mastery learning approach. I hope soon they will begin to offer more for students who are excelling.

  • I'm going into 8th grade at Mt. Carmel. I have been going to Mt. Carmel for the past three years and absolutely love it. The teachers make you work but they'll also save time to talk to you about stuff totally unrelated to school. They value their students as people not just as students and try to make their students feel as comfortable as they can. The curriculum is above and beyond expactations but isnt too hard if you have a determined child they should be fine at O.L.M.C.
