School Description
Now celebrating our 40th year in the Private School business!
The Broach School-Zephyrhills Campus, is located near downtown Zephyrhills. The Broach School is a K-12 Private, Special Educational School for Children with Disabilities and Low Income families. We are approved for the McKay and Step Up For Students (SUFS) Scholarships. If your child is enrolled in the Public School with an IEP or if you are eligible for the Free and Reduced Lunch Program in the Public Schools, you may qualify for FREE or REDUCED Tuition!
The Broach School is a Character Based School that emphasizes 10 Character Traits, (1) one per month. We recognize a student of the month that most exemplifies the Character Trait of the month by awarding them a Certificate and engraving their name on our Character Trait Plaque that is displayed in our reception area. We believe in motivating our students to succeed through the reinforcement of positive behavior.
Our school hours are from 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday. We follow Pasco County's Public School Holidays for Christmas and Spring Break.
Our Academic Program consists of the following:
- NO Daily Homework
- NOMid Terms or Final Exams
- NO FCAT Testing
The Broach School does administer the SAT 10 online as a Nationally Normed Test that is used as a Benchmark for progress, but is not used as a Pass/Fail qualifier. We are committed to an ALL IT technology delivered curriculum that is Web Based. Each school has a 15 Station Thin Client Computer Lab with a Central Server that allows our students access to the latest Current Events! We currently piloting CINCH Math and Science and supplement with CCCI! Stem Supplemental Academic web based curriculum. This "state of the art" approach will provide our students with the technical knowledge to prepare them for life after school and for job placement.
Our schools are small campuses, small classrooms that provide for personal instruction in a structured environment. Our Student/Teacher ratio is no larger than 15:1.
We are also approved for Title I, Title II and IDEA Resources and provide for additional therapies that enhance our students academic experience.
The Broach Schools are accredited by AdvancED, the global leader in education. All Diplomas are accepted by Colleges, Universities and Vocational Schools.
