At LCPS, we believe that students\' unique combination of gifts and talents help them make our world a better place. Thus, we focus on cultivating studetns\' intellectual growth in the subjects in whih they are most interested and gifted. Using project-based curricula, we challenge students to increase their individual learning pacce with one-on-one academic and life skills instructions. We are confident that our unique teaching strategies transform our students into well-adpated, successful individual.

The low student to teacher ratio (as low as 3:1 in the 2009-2010 school year) and self-determined pace of learning at LCPS are ideal for highly motivated gifted students who have felt held back by traditional school settings.
