  • Just wanted to put my input in about St. Edward and to those families who are looking to enroll their children in this school. My daughter has been attending St. Edward for 2 years and these two years have been wonderful. We have had a teacher who has been there over twenty years and one who has been there a couple of years. Both these teachers are wonderful, caring, loving, enthusiastic, and have a passion for teaching our kids. They are Catholic and instill the core values of being good Catholics. I would not hesitate to encourge you to go in and check out the school. If a Catholic based education is what you are looking for, then St Edward might just be the school for you. Good Luck with choosing a school for your kids and I hope this helps.

    Blessings,
    An enrolled Family

  • I love seeing the smiles on my children's faces every morning as they look forward to going to school, and every afternoon, regardless of how much homework they have. The teachers have been exceptionally helpful and flexible. The principal is sensational and really on top of things. She cares about each individual student and knows them well. The class sizes are small compared to public schools, and the academics are far better! Never once has a teacher, staff member, or parent been any less than exceptional to work with. The kids are well behaved, and a huge step above public school kids in behavior! They all try to do what is right, even when they aren't always perfect. It is a joy to finally have this type of education for our children!!! We have been working with teachers for 4 kids all the way through High School and have felt sooooooo blessed to have the opportunity to have our children at St. Edward's.

  • With four children ages 9-18 I have never (in four states) seen a school this good! The administration, staff, parents, and children are amazing. there truly is a community here. My children feel safe, cared about, and academically challenged. The school is fully accredited by WASC and receives many academic and sports awards each year. The kids love the fun outside activities too. The school provides before and after school care, and a summer program. They have extracurricular sports and music programs. Art, Spanish, Religion, and Computer Technology are all part of the normal curriculum. The kids do community service, and honor veterans, etc at special ceremonies throughout the year. GO ENROLL!!

  • I am extremely happy with St. Edward school. I attended the school many years ago and had wonderful memories. When it came time for my daughter to enter Kindergarten, I immediately thought about St. Edward. Academically, it excels over the public schools. I was a 'B' student at St. Edward and I had to work hard to earn those grades. Then, I attended a public high school (Centennial) and earned straight A's without ever studying. I continued to earn A's in college, which I attribute to St. Edward and not the public high school. More recently, I taught in an elementary public school in Corona and St. Edward's academics are equivalent, if not superior, to the public schools. On top of the wonderful academics, St. Edward provides much more for the whole child. The students learn about God, the community and being life long learners. While public schools are doing away with the extra curricular activities, St. Edward has kept them. They have sports, choir, decathlon team, music lessons (after school), field trips, many family events, retreats and much, much more. The school has a strong community and I'm happy that my daughter is growing up with such wonderful families around her. It has been worth every penny!

  • St. Edwards school is unprofessional, and does a grave disservice to its students. I would not reccomend any parent place their child in this school. Many of the teachers have no teaching credential, and little schooling in the educational field. In addition, the administration is unresponsive to most parents. As a former student, I was so happy to leave this school, and would never consider placing my children there as many of the teachers that taught me continue to work there today.

  • Yes it does have rules that you may not like but nothing is fair in life. So if you are debating whether you should or shouldn't go to St.Edwards School don't worry if you pick St.Eddies you would be happy you made this decision. There is a great staff that cares about you. And teaches you lessons that would help you as you get older.
