  • My son attended Small Wonders for one year of pre-school. We had a wonderful experience.
Finding a daycare where I felt comfortable leaving my 4 yr old son was tough. Choosing one that would not only nurture my child, but would teach him pre-school basics in a faith based environment AND still be affordable posed a challenge.
My son is now in second grade and we both still remember how special Small Wonders was.
He learned the basic skills necessary to start kindergarten, had good social skills and prayer at school had become as normal as recess. Put simply- they nurture the whole child. I highly recommend Small Wonders.

  • The school has it strenghts and weakness.

Strengths: caring staff, faith based, lots of songs and fun, my child loved it here and learned how to sing christian songs and build his faith, learned how to pray and beleive in God, my child felt safe and loved.
Weakness: my childd did not learn too much like numbers or letters so he was not prepared for kindergarden even though he attened for 2 years. Staff was mostly Spanish speaking so that may be the issue...now i am hispanic so i am not disgruntle towards limited speaking teachers but I attribuite this weakness to the Director since that person should set the standards for staff.

Overall if you just need a Day Care that is faith based with a fun ennviornment then this is the place for you...P.S. we kept our child here b/c we were limited on funds and it very affordable.

My child did learn to make friends and learned lots of social skills.
