  • I would like to contest the last negative comment posted by a parent. My daughter is ADHD and has a learning disability with a gifted IQ. Public schools don't have a clue how to handle her situation. I've been trying to get her tested and get her help since 1st grade and finally got the testing needed to be done by the public school. Therefore, she just got her scholarship in 6th grade! My daughter hated going to school, was bullied by students AND teachers, was withdrawn and afraid to be in front of a group, was always in trouble and failing, and did hours of homework everyday after working all day at school. Now after JUST 7 months at Center Academy she loves school, has tons of friends, rarely has homework, and is an A/B honor roll student (including behavioral grades). She is also 1 of the only girls on the football team, plays the keyboard, and will get up and sing in front of anybody now. She is happy and her true personality has emerged. Thank you Center Academy!
