  • All I have to say is. Wow. Such wonderful improvements at our school. Our School has so much to offer. We have come such a long way and will continue to grow. We have been at the school for several years. And will continue. We are happy.

  • We have been part of St. Andrew Church and Catholic School for 15 years. We love our school and Church and feel part of a true family in Crist. We love the small student/teacher ratio. We feel that our children are learning in a safe and loving atmosphere.

  • My daughter loves going to school again. The new administration has improved the curriculum and increased technology and resources for both teachers and students. The teachers are using data to drive the instruction. This has helped the teachers focus on the children's needs. My daughter has been challenged this year. She finds the technology fun and feels it makes her lessons more interesting. She also has some special needs. Which the teachers and staff have lovingly met. Out of the three Catholic schools we have been in, St. Andrew is the most technologically advanced, has had the highest expectations, and the best curriculum. The teachers and staff strive to teach the whole child.

  • I am so happy with the school and cannot believe how much it has changed in less than 5 months. A new administration was brought in to really challenge the kids. The new principal and her energetic staff came in and asked the teachers to really challenge the kids academically. I can see the difference in my child. She has become very responsible and really enjoys going to school. I am happy at how well they are preparing her for high school. The administration also upgraded the techology lab, put in a new playground, a new science lab, and a brand new TV studio that the kids run and broadcast from twice a day. Stop by to take a tour and see for yourself.

  • Many of the St. Andrew students have become national merit finalists, semi-finalists and commended scholars in high school. The students have traditionally scored well on the IOWA tests with many children qualifying for Duke and Baldwin academic programs for the gifted. For children who are struggling an excellent system is in place so that parents can keep track of grades on a daily basis and tutoring is availabe. This school serves the needs of each individual student both spiritually and academically. The new technology has enhanced the academics but the teachers are still very much involved in the day-to-day learning.

  • The former student from the previous post was correct. The last administration really ran the school into the ground. That is why they cleaned house, got rid of the whole administration. A new, energetic and very knowledgeable principal came in and cleaned house with all the old grumpy, and not friendly teachers. She brought in all new , certified and energetic teachers. I cannot believe my eyes how much this school has changed in only 5 months under the new administrations direction. They have totally upgraded the technology, put in a new playground, new science lab, new tv studio that the kids run and a new attitude. It is a shame what the last administration did to this school, but stop by any day of the week to get a tour from our very friendly registrar and she will show you everything the school has to offer.

  • Excellent school with top-notch academics in a loving atmosphere. Four of my children have attended for more than 12 years and all have flourished. St. Andrews has state-of-the-art technology and a generous donor recently funded a television studio with broadcasts twice a day. The cafeteria food is prepared by a professional chef and is healthy for the children. A new basketball court was donated by the eight grade class. Parents are very involved because they want to be. The school is community oriented and families help each other out. Students collect food for the needy.

  • this school was so bad that i would die if i had to go here again. luckily i graduated. :P -50000000 stars if that were possible. the teachers AND subs are all mean, as in yell-at-you-if-you-open-your-mouth mean, and the curriculum is hard to follow, as not everyone is given a fair chance to learn.

  • THEY TRY TO SHOW YOU SOMETHING THAT IS NOT TRUE.CATHOLIC SCHOOL BUT THEY DON'T ACT LIKE ONE. TEACHERS ARE GOOD BUT THEY WILL TELL YOU RIGHT IN YOUR FACE.THEIR JOB IS FIRST NO MATTER WHAT(MEANING THEY NEED IT) SO THEY COVER EACH OTHER INSTEAD OF HELPING YOUR CHILD WITH NEEDS.AND IF YOU WANT HELP THEN THEY WILL SAY.PAY MORE.PARENTS BEWARE.THIS SCHOOL IS NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE.
