  • My children have attended Wider Horizons School for 7 years. I am thrilled with the quality of education at WHS. I have never had any issues with the administration and have found them to be reasonable and supportive any time I have had concerns. I would advise anyone to meet with the Maglio's and observe the classroom activity before making any decisions regarding your childs education. It really is a wonderful school. Worth checking out for yourself.

  • On the positive side, it is a very small school where all of the teachers know all of the children. Our three children attended for 5 years. Many teachers are very good, but the administration is not. As our oldest approached graduation we learned that Dr. Maglio and his wife run the school their way. http://www.widerhorizonschool.com There is no oversight by anyone. We could not get accurate transcripts or report cards. The Maglios will not tolerate constructive criticism or dissent. It is very dictatorial. Students calling parents during overseas school trip is forbidden. Conform or leave.
