  • Our child has attended this school since shortly after his birth; he is now nearly five years old. His older sister also attended from birth to elementary school age.

Over the years, we have found the teachers and staff to be consistently warm and caring. Our son has been treated kindly, and he has been treated as an individual and not one of a faceless mob of children. All of the teachers, even the ones whose class he has not been in, know him by name. Discipline is loving and instructional, with a time-out followed by a discussion of how the child can behave better next time.

The teachers are also consistently willing to speak to parents; parents are encouraged to be a part of their child's schoolday by attending parties, excursions, etc. I have taken the opportunity to volunteer several times and have enjoyed it every time.

Our children have learned a lot at the school. Our son is beginning to read, and his sister is reading three grade levels above her own; both of this is largely due to the school's curriculum and patient instruction by the teachers. Technology is certainly available; we have arrived to pick up our son and found him working on the school computer. Additionally, both children received a solid basic Christian education with regard to Biblical teachings and stories.

The appearance of the school does need to be updated. This is definitely not a "money" school. However, the school is clean and sanitary. I have seen that the teachers wipe down surfaces and play areas/items frequently with disinfectant. They are also strict with the children about washing hands; all of them must wash their hands frequently throughout the day.

For the price, you can't beat it, not with a stick. I recommend it highly.

  • The school curriculum is outdated and the school appearance needs to be updated. The children aren't exposed to any type of technology. The teachers aren't certified and overall it isn't a good choice public education is better.
