School Description
John B. Allard continues to focus on student academic achievement. We are dedicated to helping students become productive citizen, proficient readers and writers. This report provides information on the areas where we have made improvements and areas that we need to improve. Allard is a schoolwide Title I program. As a result we receive additional funding and students at some sites receive free breakfasts and lunches. The additional funding allows us to provide experiences outside the school that might not be available otherwise. This funding also allows us to support a safe learning environment through contracts with the sheriff's department and probations department. An SRO and probation officer are available at all times. We have additional support for our students and parents through the Cal-Safe grant and school based mental health offerings. A student support advocate and homeless advocate are available to all families. Weekly parenting classes are offered through the Cal-Safe Grant. In addition school based counseling is offered through the Center for Human Services. Student success is the focus of the staff at Allard School. Teachers are dedicated to serving our students and their families.
