  • As a teaching professional for 30 plus years and a grandparent of 3 students at Rolling Hills, I highly recommend this charter public school. This year my 12 year old grandson joined his 2 cousins who have been students at RHPCS for the last 2 years. As a transfer student from another Boise school my grandson has adapted to his new school and made new friends with the help of caring, energetic and professional teachers and staff.I recommend this school because of the welcoming atmosphere and the enforcing of school policies, especially zero tolerance for bullying.

  • We love Rolling Hills Charter School!!! Our oldest daughter was in private school last year and she was doing fabulous in the small learning environment. We knew we wanted to transition her to public school, so we did our research on local schools. Despite getting into two other charter schools for the 2010-2011 school year, we chose Rolling Hills for our daughter. We knew the 20 minute drive would be worth it. The smaller school creates a safe learning environment, which allows the students to thrive. The curriculum is challenging and accelerated. The Concept Boards and Shurley Method are important teaching tools. The teachers are compassionate and dedicated to their students and to the Harbor Method. We love that the school offers Spanish, PE, computers and music. The principal asks for parents feedback, wants parents involved, and truly cares for the kids. The new school secretary is wonderful. She makes you feel welcomed and communicates with parents via weekly email updates. We are thankful to be part of the Rolling Hills Community.

  • I highly recommend Rolling Hills to families looking for a safe, small community school environment with high academic emphasis and excellent extracurricular opportunities. Both my children have attended Rolling Hills since it opened and have thrived in the Harbor teaching methods and enjoy the personal interaction during class and in after school activities. They have an excellent well-rounded school program and commendable parent-faculty interaction. We feel fortunate to be part of this school.

  • This school has been the best for my children. The teachers and administrator are great and go the extra mile. My children are in a small, safe enviroment that helps each student reach their full potential. They also offer an amazing amount of extracurricular activities for the size of the school. I would highly recommend this school

  • This used to be a school I highly recommended. With the current school administrator and special ed teacher, all I can say is the school is NOT what it used to be. What's best for the child is not what they care about. I pulled my child out immediatly after a parent/staff meeting in which the principal and the special ed teacher shouted at us for most of the meeting! I had had three children go to this school for the past 4 yrs. (2009-2010 school yr)
