  • Attended this school for both 7th and 8th grade in the mid 70's. The times have really changed since then. I had many very good teachers in 7th grade from Mrs Yazdani my math teacher to Mrs Slocum who would even stay after school to give me private drum lessons. But 8th grade was totally different as the school began a new program. At registration I was given C School. I had 2 teachers (A man with a wooden leg and a woman). These two did not teach a thing the entire year except how to goof off, go to the library and pretty sure they were romantically involved with one another. This one year sure made it hard when I entered 9th grade with no clue what to do. As a starter on the basketball "C" team, Freddie and I took our team undefeated until we lost the game before the state finals. I am so sorry to all of my teammates for getting the flu & letting you all down on the court that day. Never given a real chance on the football team but never missed a tackle when I was in and loved playing the game. It was a part of my life I will never forget from the girls flirting in PE to having my first locker. From playing dodge ball in the gym to making things in shop class. But nothing can beat our school dance with the theme to "Stairway to Heaven". The girl that broke my heart...Leslie

  • I took my children out of private school and put them in Herman. This math teacher does not have math books in the class. She writes everything on the board. There s no extra help. And the teacher say's, To leave your math book at home" Go to good in my book. I will speak to the teacher and principal. If it is not resolved, I will go to the district.
