  • I have recently went to this school and I truly do no like it that much. One reason is how MLK runs Study Hall. They make it seem more as a punishment more then a time to do old homework and yet nobody does it there and there student government is flawed. I believe that it is because it is truly not publicized and there is no real voting process more of the teacher choosing who serves in the student senate. Also I noticed alot of persecution upon the wrong groups, if one is seen with sagging jeans or wears a hat too the left side or right there constantly bugged by the School District and sent notices and forced into programs because of his or her appearances they believe that person is gang affiliated. I think it's not good. But besides of how the Administration is theres also the students who make up the school a lot of them are usually are in the school because of the constant praise its own staff gives themselves but the students are different then from other schools such as Chavez these ones are the more frail whiny and annoying white children and a small fraction of it are hispanic, asian, or black. But the school rely succumbs to there need for false security.

  • Huge sigh of relief! Excellent Middle School in North County SD. Principal Rowe has taken a 'No messin' around" approach to discipline, good citizenship, scholarly behavior, and positive reinforcement. No sign of bullying - the kids are upbeat and confident. The teachers are not burnt out and ready to teach! Thumbs up!
