  • If you're looking for a school with a progressive style of teaching, then you've found it. Hurley uses a dual language immersion program called the Language Enrichment Academy. It is currently in its third year or phase. This years second grade students are the original students of the program who began learning in Spanish 90% and in English 10%. Every year their English education has been increasing by a certain percent. They have reached the point where they are now learning at 50% in both languages. The rest of the grade levels offer similar programs and incorporate various data driven and standard based teaching methodologies.
