  • this school really sucks. its going on 2 years since we enrolled our children their. this school lacks intelligence and does not inform the parents right away whne our child was failing and they wanted to hold her back a year. we got informed about it when the year was almost over. what the hell is this crap? and then our son we have been trying and going through the process and paper work for 2 years now to get him tested and enrolled in special education. and all the school does is lie to us about the process. saying the first year it can take up to 3yrs or longer to get tested and their is a long waiting list. well guess what? we called the school board this year, and after that call and proof we sent them showing how long we have been trying to get our kid tested for special ed classes, they told us it should have never taking this long. and now barton all of a sudden called us and claimed they recieved the paperwork about 3 weeks ago, when again the paper work was done in agust and turned in august. what is up with this crap again? then they claim we can enroll them in any school we want to, but the school baord always denies us. well guess what we got this letter from the school district and school board that states if parents are unsatisfied with barton elementary we have every right to put our kids in any school we feel fit. the staff their is very RUDE. the CAPS program called us one day had an incident with our son, we asked them if they took his disibility into consideration and they told us that caps is for normal people. then 3 days later kicked our son out of the program. what good is caps? our daughter was coming everyday telling us they refused to help her with her home work and was constantly letting all the children play and eat candy all day. this after school program at barton need to be pulled out if they cant treat people with respect and do what they promised the program will do. BARTON IS TRULY ONE OF THE WORST SCHOOLS IN SAN BERNARDINO, AND WE ARE DOING EVERYTHING WE CAN TO PULL OUR CHILDREN OUT OF THEIR. THIS SCHOOL SHOULD TALK TO ALOT OF THE PARENTS AND FIND OUT HOW ALOT OF THEM REALLY FEEL. SCHOOL FUNDING SHOULD BE CUT FOR THIS SCHOOL, AND IT SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN. ONCE AGAIN THE STAFF THEIR IS VERY RUDE TO US THE PARENTS AND THE WYA THEY HANDLE ALL AND ANY SITUATIONS IS MESSED UP.
