  • I was one of the first students to attend Butte View High, class of 89. I graduated, joined the Army and have since moved into private industry. I lived in a group home when I attended, as I was a foster child and a ward of the court. Without this school I may well have not finished High School at all. I can tell you that Ruth Lowman (founder) was a wonderful women who cared deeply about kids that society sometimes writes off as bad apples. Thank you Ruth Lowman and the Sutter school district for coming up with this program. I would not be where I am today without this school and the people that made it reality, thanks!!!
