  • My children have been students from K-12. I feel they don't have a handle on cyber bullying and some students are treated differently than others if they are in sports they are fine otherwise its who you know and that will either float your boat or sink it fast. Such as a cheerleader (her mom is the coach so again special treatment) cyber bullied others on the high school team but NOTHING was done. If you play sports you are golden and guarenteed to get away with almost anything unless you are in the elementary or middle school where they have a better handle on the students. High School needs a new principal who will not be everyones friend but demand respect.
Otherwise, the teaching staff is pretty good, busing - nice rides for the most part but the drivers could use some training and no texting while driving needs to be the norm, the over all student body is pretty good. My suggestion is to check it out and meet the staff. Ask questions, DON"T just enroll you children without participating. The PTA isn't all that good and I don't know the lady who did it five years ago but I hope this finds her someday adn she knows how great she was as the President! Its nice to see parents involvement especially when some of us are deployed. I hope Ellicott will allow Schreiver and Ft Carson to send some training in and help get the teachers, drivers and over all staff some ideas to motivate, control and over all help the population. Thanks from Iraq
