  • I found this school to be subpar in quality of extracurricular activities. The male drama teacher was a terrible role model for the students, often having meltdowns during rehearsals, etc. He also chose plays which were questionable in appropriateness for high schoolers (sex, vulgar language, etc). As a choir teacher, he was also subpar. Students lacked a sense of quality to their performances, were not taught stage and/or theater etiquette, etc. Watching them perform was akin to watching an elementary perform. (However, the female choir director does try to instill decorum in her choir.) As the designated Loveland Integreated School of the Arts location, we found it to be unsatisfactory and will transfer our child out of its program.
As a parent, I also found the principle of this school to be very unapproachable, uncaring of the students. His leadership style appears to be focused mainly on a quality admininistrative bottom line and not on what may be best for the students. I've overheard comments from other parents as to his "running his school like a prison, and the parents being treated like the families of inmates." Very sad.

  • I went to this school; the teachers are ok. you will pass any class you take because it makes them look better. You really don't fit in unless you do sports... and smoke pot. The school has a big problem with kids who drink but nothing is ever done about it. funny thing is i was one of the best athletes to come out of that school and all i can say is i should have transferred to Loveland high when i have the chance.

  • I don't see alot of diversity in my school.
There are mainly white kids with a few hispanic kids thrown in there.
    Not alot of school spirit.
Although you won't fit in unless you play a sport.
