  • I was more then please with the standard of learning at Cambridge. My daughter leaving the third grade with a A/B honor roll and make a level 4 on the Fcat. Wow! She and her teacher work very hard to get her at the learning level that she is at. The teacher was alway in conact with me if my daughter didn't do her class work or if she didn't turn in her homework. She would let me know if the was a issue with her work or her behavior. The teacher have call me on Sundays if there was issues. What more could you ask for from a teacher. The Principal and other office staff members was always avalible. Office staffs, teachers, parents and students work very hard to make Cambridge an "A" school. I am pride to have my child there. D. Jackson

  • I was very disappointed with the services provided to my son (who has a learning disability) while attending Cambridge. I felt that I was in a constant battle with administrators to provide services to my son so that he would not be "left behind". However, he was and I regret that I ever enrolled him at Cambridge. The school guidance counselor has a non caring attitude and it is evident that the children's best interest are not placed first.

  • The condition of this so called "magnet" school is appalling. Most of the students intimidate each other on a regular daily basis. Teachers are told to teach to the FCAT test, and as a result students leave this school not knowing the basics of life that will help them become a useful member of society. Further, many of the students have personal issues that are not addressed at the school. When students are sent to the office they are given candy, and sent back to the classroom. As a result the teacher who sent them to the office is discredited. All teachers at this school are not being utilized by the administrators. It is no wonder this school is a C school, and it will be no surprise if this coming year the school gets a grade of "D".

Parents, if you are concerned about the education of your child, please don't sent them to Cambridge.
