  • My daughter attended this school for two and a half years. There were many problems. The school is very unorganized, the Deans idea of discipline goes back to the ideas in the fifties and sixties, children were told to stand in the middle of a small square holding out their two hands with a book in it for more than an hour. Ms. Rainbow does not encourage parent input. There is a lack of respect for parents and children alike. Several children were seriously injured( broken arm etc.) due to lack of supervision during recess. There are no books available for inclass work or for homework, and my daughter's teachers spent more time out of the actual classroom than in the classroom. Each day my daughter would have 4 to 5 hours of homework and they give huge phamphlets of homework over the Holidays! I think that they have an idea of what they would like the school to be, however as a result of low performing leadership and teacher guidance it is a huge failure. My daughter had to recieve counseling as a result of attending this school. Good luck if your child is a student.

  • Sorry, but this school is in chaos, early morning antics by students running around, and uncontroled classrooms. I personally listened, as a teacher, not 2 ft. away, yelled at a student to acknowledge her yelling. Of, course, she was right, but the method of dealing with this situtation was completely out of hand. There have been other incidences, that have disrupted my childs learning in this classroom. Also, the teacher has verbally called my daughter a name, because was slow to move along. I thought teachers were mature adults, not name calling children. TEACHERS ARE ROLE MODELS, and therefore, should not act like name calling children.
