(5 / 5) Flag as inappropriate - A SMALLER HIGH SCHOOL THAN AVERAGE YET FILLED WITH ACTIVITIES AND OFFERING A RANGE OF CLASSES. THE SCHOOL REFLECTS THE TOWN RETIRED GRANDPARENTS LOOKING FOR A GOOD COMMUNITY FOR THEIR GRANDCHILDREN AND GOVERNMENT WORKERS OF SARASOTA COUNTY WHO KNOW WHERE THE SAFE AND CHALLENGING SCHOOLS ARE,THEY SERVE ALL OF THIS AGE THERE IS NOT ANOTHER HIGH SCHOOL SO THE STATISTICS ARE NOT REFLECTIVE OF THE SCHOOLS ACHIEVEMENTS IN TESTING SCORES.

- EXCELLENT HIGH SCHOOL WITH FEW OR NONE OF THE USUAL BEHAVIOR PROBLEMS . GOING TO NORTH PORT HIGH IS EQUIVALENT TO ATTENDING A PRIVATE SCHOOL IN OTHER FLORIDA CITIES. FOR THE SERIOUS STUDENT THERE ARE HONORS COURSES WITH AN EYE TO HIGH SCORING IN ENTRANCE TESTS. WE RENT CONDOS AND ALL OF OUR TENANTS ARE SURPRISED AND HAPPY WITH THIS SCHOOL.
