  • I LOVE this school it is amazing how majority of the teachers are so down to earth and actually put forth an effort with the children. My son has been there for kindergarten, second and 3rd grade. It really is such a great school! They make you feel right at home. There are a a few teachers in particular that I think should retire due to no patience with the children and they are in the upper grade levels there. This one 3rd grade teacher truly was a pain in my butt because she would never say anything positive about my son and had him sit in the front at her desk, and for some reason even then he made bad grades... and come to find out she was just being lazy and wanted to play on facebook instead of answering the childrens questions! She did not like my son, she did single him out and I think it was because he was a popular kid. I know that may be the wrong way to put it but she constantly criticized him. Throughout the entire time he was there she did not once have anything good to say to encourage him or make me feel at ease about helping him. His homework was done and graded passing but his classwork suffered? Why I wondered ..well because she wasnt doing her job or part to teach! The school is STILL amazing even having to deal with that old woman!

  • 5th grade teachers bully kids. Tells them they will take up their cell phones and sell them on the computer. Kidding or not, shouldn't teach kids how to do that! Constantly worrying the kids about something, with hardly any recess. One male teacher in 5th grade too loud and pushy. Tells kids he doesn't believe in anything, Christmas, etc.

  • My grandson went into the 3rd grade with an A-B average and left with a D-F average. He was never taught how to solve math problems by the teacher, and was told to figure it out for himself. Also the teacher constantly belittled him in front of the whole class if he forgot to wear tennis shoes on PE day or if he forgot to bring back a signed permission slip, etc. He got to where he hated going to school because the class was allowed to belittle him also. I know that there are some great teachers at this school. but this year's teacher needs to be let go! I do not know if he will get over this terrible experience.

  • This grade is based on the experience I've had with a straight A student and his 2nd and 4th year at this school. Two bad teachers and only going on 5th year at the same school. This year is even worse than 2nd. Teachers do not teach basics and expect working parents to teach the children. They also make negative remarks and send homework home with phrases like "this is for this child because he hates math" etc.
Its really a bad, awful experience.
Where to turn in such a situation? Its like me against the world. Good luck if you go with this school!

  • Panter Elementary is an awesome school. They teach you all of the basics and hope that you succeed in life. In 5th grade they prepare you for what life changing events you will see in middle school. The staff is very nice. They always treat each person with their full attention to treat their every need. I love Panter! I was proud to be a student there.
