  • I went there for one year, but then we moved so I had to move out. Academically, it is pretty good. It is one of the top schools in the state, and the students go to decent colleges. However, I kind of think it is overrated. You will not automatically get into harvard if you go there, and although the classes are all honors there, I personally didn't think they are any more difficult then my current schools. I still recomend it because so many students there love it. The students who hate it usually have an issue with the excessive school pride. That was my problem there -- I just wasnt as into it as other students. If it is your only option is to go to a cps school, I would recommend it. If it isn't, you should consider it but also consider other schools too. Its a good school, but go there because you want to and not because other people pressured you to.
