  • CCIS is an excellent school for advanced learners. my sons' teachers are helpful and compassionate, and are willing to communicate with parents, although homework can be very heavy at times. Also, many varied extra-curricular activities are offered at all Coal City schools, making education well-rounded.

  • Not a great school if your child has adhd or learning problems!!!! Teachers have no clue on how to handle these kids and make the kids feel like they are stupid!!!! I will be moving out of this area just so my child can get in a school that can help her learn
