  • South Shores was named a Spotlight School for excellence in education by the State of Illinois. It offers a fun, caring, supportive learning environment for almost 400 children from a variety of backgrounds. A public school in the Decatur District, South Shores' staff has adopted the Modern Red Schoolhouse program with great success. It is truly a place where all children can learn.
